The Fair Milk Pricing for Farmers Act aims to make dairy pricing more transparent by requiring manufacturers to report their production costs. This helps farmers understand pricing better and could lead to fairer prices for their products.
Child Care Workforce and Facilities Act of 2025This bill requires the Department of Health and Human Services to provide states and tribal entities with grants to increase access to licensed child care services. The grants may be used to develop and expand the child care workforce or child care facilities in locations with insufficient available child care. Specifically, grants cover 50% of the cost of programs to support the education and training of caregivers or projects to build, expand, or renovate child care facilities in these areas.
1. This bill requires dairy manufacturers to report their production costs and product yields. 2. Manufacturers must provide this information for all products made in the same facility. 3. The Secretary of Agriculture will publish a report on these costs every two years. 4. The goal is to improve transparency in dairy pricing for farmers. 5. This bill updates rules from the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946.
