This bill updates the definition of election districts in Tennessee to make it clearer for municipal elections.
As enacted, defines "district," for purposes of municipal elections, to mean a district, region, precinct, sector, territory, ward, or other geographical area prescribed for the purposes of nominating and electing candidates. - Amends TCA Title 2 and Title 6, Chapter 53.
