ATF Accountability Act of 2025This bill establishes a federal statutory process for licensed gun dealers, importers, or manufacturers to appeal a ruling or determination by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
1. This bill allows licensed manufacturers, importers, and dealers to appeal decisions made by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. 2. The Attorney General must respond to classification requests within 90 days. 3. Licensees can appeal rulings within 30 days and receive a written decision from the Director of Industry Operations. 4. If further appeal is needed, a hearing can be requested with an administrative law judge. 5. The ruling from the judge is final and can be reviewed in court if necessary.
