Honoring Air Force Service Members
Official: Authorizing the use of the rotunda of the Capitol for the lying in state of the remains of Air Force Major John A. Klinner, Captain Ariana G. Savino, Captain Seth R. Koval, Captain Curtis J. Angst, Technical Sergeant Ashley B. Pruitt, and Technical Sergeant Tyler H. Simmons.
This resolution authorizes the use of the Capitol rotunda for honoring six Air Force members who served in Operation Epic Fury.
1. This resolution allows the remains of six Air Force members to lie in state in the Capitol rotunda. 2. The service members being honored are Major John A. Klinner and five captains and technical sergeants. 3. The date for the lying in state will be decided by the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House. 4. The Architect of the Capitol will oversee the arrangements for this event. 5. This resolution recognizes the service of these individuals in support of Operation Epic Fury.
The families and friends of Major Klinner and the other five service members are directly affected by this resolution.
