1. The Secretary of State must create a list of countries that need faster export license approvals for defense items. 2. Applications to export defense articles to listed countries will be decided within 45 days, while others will be decided within 60 days. 3. The Secretary of State will report every six months on applications that take longer than the set deadlines. 4. The reports will include details about the defense items, recipient countries, and reasons for any delays in decisions. 5. The Secretary of State will work with the Secretary of Defense to ensure timely decisions on these applications.
