1. The bill requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to create a public list of health care providers accepting CHAMPVA assignments. 2. Each year, health care networks must confirm which providers accept CHAMPVA assignments. 3. The first directory will be available within 180 days after the bill becomes law. 4. The Secretary will report annually on how many providers accept CHAMPVA assignments for four years. 5. The report will show areas where CHAMPVA beneficiaries lack access to accepting providers.
