Quarterly Housing Loan Report for Veterans
Official: To amend title 38, United States Code, to require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to submit to Congress a quarterly report on housing loans insured, guaranteed, or under laws administered by the Secretary, and for other purposes.
This bill makes sure that the Secretary of Veterans Affairs provides regular updates on housing loans for veterans. It helps Congress keep track of how these loans are being managed and any issues that arise.
1. This bill requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to report every three months on housing loans. 2. The report will include the number of loans insured or guaranteed by the Secretary. 3. It will also show how many loan applications were denied during the previous quarter. 4. The report will detail how many veterans are late on their mortgage payments. 5. Lastly, it will include the number of employees working in the VA Home Loan Guaranty Service.
