  2. 2Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to design and mint the gold medal with suitable emblems and inscriptions.
  3. 3Requires the gold medal to be given to the National Museum of African American History and Culture of the Smithsonian Institution for display and research, and encourages further traveling exhibits.
  4. 4Allows the Secretary of the Treasury to mint and sell bronze duplicates of the medal at cost to cover production expenses.
  5. 5Designates all medals struck under this Act as national medals and numismatic items under title 31 of the United States Code.
  6. 6Charges medal production costs to the United States Mint Public Enterprise Fund and directs proceeds from bronze sales back into that fund.
