A Lifetime of Service
25 years in the United States Navy. A husband, father, and neighbor in Southern California. Armen is running for Congress to put working families ahead of party politics.
Experience & Service
For 25 years, Armen Kurdian served our nation in the U.S. Navy, dedicating his career to protecting American interests and defending our values abroad. His military service instilled in him a deep commitment to duty, honor, and country—principles that continue to guide his work today.
Throughout his career, Armen has worked to strengthen our communities by partnering with nonprofits, supporting veterans, and improving local government. He understands the challenges facing working families because he's lived them.
Armen believes every American deserves the chance to own a home, feel safe in their neighborhood, and build a better future for their family. These aren't just talking points—they're the values he's fought for throughout his life.
Core Values
Faith and family come first — the foundation that shapes every decision and guides every action.
25 years in the U.S. Navy taught Armen that leadership means putting country and community before self.
Real solutions to real problems — practical, principled, and grounded in the priorities of working families.
Honest, transparent leadership that answers to the people of CA-49 — not Washington insiders or special interests.
Meet the Family
Armen and his family call Southern California home. As a husband and father, he understands the everyday challenges families in the 49th District face—from the cost of living to the quality of local schools.
After 14 military relocations, the Kurdian family finally put down roots in North County. That personal experience drives Armen's commitment to making this community the best place to raise a family.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives write and vote on federal laws, including the federal budget. Each represents one district and serves a two-year term. Tax bills must start in the House, only the House can impeach federal officials, and members oversee federal agencies through their committees.
