About Steve
I was born and raised in South Jordan, where I still live with my family today. I have spent nearly all of my life in District 4! I have practiced law for nearly 20 years, and for the last 10 years have advocated for common sense energy policy as an in-house attorney and executive in the solar industry. I have also dedicated time to pro bono representation, particularly associated with immigration issues.
Why I am Running
I am running for the U.S. House in Utah's District 4 as unaffiliated because most people I know are unhappy with both major parties and desire better representation and more reasonable politicians. Most Americans today consider themselves independent, and "unaffiliated" is the fastest growing voter identification. Declare your independence and support my campaign today!
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives write and vote on federal laws, including the federal budget. Each represents one district and serves a two-year term. Tax bills must start in the House, only the House can impeach federal officials, and members oversee federal agencies through their committees.
