About Rudy Recile

My Story

I am a small business owner, a former employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and a proud retired UNITED STATES ARMY MAJOR with over 26 years of military service to our nation.

During my military career, I had the privilege of serving across the United States and abroad, including assignments in Illinois, South Korea, and Washington, D.C. My final duty station brought my wife and me to Fairfield, California. We quickly fell in love with this community, its people, and its spirit of resilience and opportunity. After my retirement in 2014, we made the decision to call California home.

I am a husband, brother, uncle, and proud member of a family dedicated to service, including my nephew, a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Why I'm Running

Like many Americans, I have watched families struggle with rising costs, small businesses face unnecessary obstacles, and communities feel increasingly disconnected from the decisions being made in Washington.

Too many people feel that the government no longer listens to them.

I believe public service should be rooted in accountability, transparency, and results. Leadership is not about holding a position—it's about solving problems, bringing people together, and serving with integrity.

During my time at the Pentagon and while working alongside leaders on Capitol Hill, I learned how Washington works. I learned how decisions are made, how relationships are built, and most importantly, how to navigate complex systems to deliver results.

Those experiences prepared me not just to understand Washington, but to work effectively on behalf of the people I serve.

Why I Choose to Serve Again

I am running for Congress because I believe California's 8th Congressional District deserves leadership that:

Puts people before politics

Listens before making decisions

Works across differences to solve problems

Protects our communities and supports our economy

Leads with integrity, accountability, and transparency

My mission is simple:

To serve our communities with honor, fight for practical solutions, and restore trust that government can work for the people again.

I spent 26 years wearing our nation's uniform in service to others. Today, I am once again answering the call to serve.

I would be honored to earn your trust, your support, and your vote.

Vote for me on my mission to restore our country

with new blood and fresh ideas!
