GRAHAM, Darline, a Senator from South Carolina; born in Central, Pickens County, S.C., June 12, 1964; B.S., sociology, College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C., 1989; M.A., rehabilitation counseling, South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, S.C., 2009; vocational rehabilitation counselor; commissioner, South Carolina Commission for the Blind; appointed as a Republican to the United States Senate on July 13, 2026, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Lindsey O. Graham; took the oath of office on July 14, 2026.
