George is a lifelong New Yorker raised in the Astoria Projects. A former employee of the Mayor’s Office in New York City, George will bring his experience to Congress to serve YOU! George is also a proud father, grandfather, and an advocate for community members all across Queens. His commitment to people comes from sustaining a commitment to himself—as he is over 35 years in recovery from addiction. A vote for Marsh is a vote for your community. Members of the U.S. House of Representatives write and vote on federal laws, including the federal budget. Each represents one district and serves a two-year term. Tax bills must start in the House, only the House can impeach federal officials, and members oversee federal agencies through their committees.
