Jackson For Congress 2026
DeVelle Jackson is 35 and Black, a statesman from Minnesota, and an Independent running for U.S. Congress in Minnesota’s Fifth District. He graduated with distinction, earning a degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, and is currently a prospective J.D. candidate. His professional background in building taught him how to coordinate multiple stakeholders, balance competing priorities, and make decisions that came with real consequences. Civic service strengthened the discipline and persistence behind his public life.
A Stronger Voice.
Minnesota’s Fifth District deserves more than party maintenance. It deserves a representative with the independence to question what others avoid, the discipline to study what others simplify, and the voice to say clearly what the people already know deserves to be heard.
A stronger voice is not volume. It is command of the question. It is the ability to speak plainly where politics hides behind scripts, to press for details when the establishment expects silence, and to give force and direction to concerns the people have been carrying without representation.
Jackson writes his own message, builds his own case, and enters this race with the independence to speak without being filtered through what a party wants to hear or softened into talking points. His voice is direct, studied, independent, and built to press for answers.
The district needs someone who can carry the argument, speak without a borrowed script, ask the questions politics too often leaves untouched, and press institutions until the people get answers.
This campaign respects the wisdom of age, but it does not believe public life should be trapped under stale authority, inherited scripts, or a new generation of politicians trained only to repeat the old order.
A House seat is renewed every two years, and two years is enough time to ask better questions, expose neglected issues, sharpen the fight, and make the district harder to ignore.
A New Standard.
DeVelle Jackson is running as an Independent because no representative should have to surrender their judgment to a partisan machine.
Jackson’s independent campaign is rooted in a unionist view of public service. Institutions over establishments. The common good over political convenience. The whole people over party politics.
The parties keep fighting for control while too many of the same problems stay put. This campaign brings an independent voice to that fight, grounded in constitutional government, public accountability, the general welfare, and the whole district. One district. One country. One constitutional order.
Jackson For Congress gives Minnesota’s Fifth District a real choice after eight years under the same representation. Not a protest vote. Not a party reflex. An Independent campaign with its own voice and judgment, focused on governing rather than performance, public service rather than celebrity, and confronting the abuses and unanswered problems that partisan politics too often turns into theater.
KEEP THE SEAT. Confront authoritarian government. Put the people before the party. Don’t follow the partisan swing like Bulls and Bears follow the market. SEND JACKSON to Washington.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives write and vote on federal laws, including the federal budget. Each represents one district and serves a two-year term. Tax bills must start in the House, only the House can impeach federal officials, and members oversee federal agencies through their committees.
