Wes Climer is a husband, father of five, business owner and public servant who believes in doing the hard work, telling the truth and never backing down from a fight. Raised in South Carolina and now representing York County in the State Senate, Wes has built a reputation for being one of the most effective and conservative voices in Columbia. He’s not in politics to climb the ladder or play the game. He’s in it to fix what’s broken.
As a financial advisor by trade, Wes understands how bloated government and reckless spending hurt working families. That’s why he’s spent his time in the State Senate leading fights to cut taxes, block wasteful spending and shrink the power of unelected bureaucrats. He believes in smaller government, stronger families and a freer South Carolina.
Wes isn’t just a principled conservative. He’s a proven leader. Whether it’s stopping legislative pay raises, delivering road funding for York County or pushing for real school choice, Wes has shown he’s willing to take on anyone, Republicans or Democrats, to do what’s right.
