About Ralph Alvarado

Meet Ralph

Dr. Ralph Alvarado is a Christian, husband, father, and physician running for Congress to represent Kentucky's Sixth District. Ralph is stepping up to bring independent leadership to Washington, lower the cost of living, strengthen Kentucky's economy, and deliver practical solutions that put Kentucky families first.

For nearly three decades, Ralph has cared for thousands of patients across Central Kentucky. As a physician, he's seen firsthand how rising prices and a broken healthcare system have made life harder for working families. That's why he'll work with Republicans and Democrats to fix healthcare, lower costs, increase transparency, and give patients more control over their care.

Ralph also has a plan to make everyday life more affordable by bringing down the rising cost of groceries, gas, and healthcare, growing good-paying Kentucky jobs, and eliminating wasteful government spending that drives up inflation.

Ralph and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 32 years and raised their two children in Clark County. They are active members of their church and deeply involved in their community. In 2014, Ralph made history as the first Hispanic member of the Kentucky General Assembly.

Ralph isn't a career politician. He's a doctor who has spent his life solving problems and serving others. While Ralph is focused on making life more affordable and fixing healthcare, Zach Dembo is backed by left-wing donors because they know he'll support higher taxes and the same failed Washington policies that have made life unaffordable for Kentucky families.

Ralph is ready to bring practical, independent leadership to Congress and deliver results that improve healthcare, lower costs, and create greater opportunity for Kentucky's Sixth District.
