Meet Steve Toth
An ordained pastor and small business owner, Steve Toth knows what’s at stake when Republicans cede ground to the progressive left and lose sight of our strong conservative values. Family, faith, and freedom are the cornerstones of America – and Steve is ready to defend them in Washington D.C.
During his tenure serving his constituents in the Texas House, Steve Toth earned his reputation as a bold, conservative champion. Steve has stood against liberal policies, even when they came from within his own party, serving as a voice for conservatives across the state.
Steve has consistently been ranked as one of the most conservative legislators in the Texas House while delivering real wins for Texans. His landmark legislation banning both Critical Race Theory and Social Transitioning of Children in Texas schools is being used as a model in states across the nation. Steve also secured billions in funding for border security initiatives as a member of the Appropriations Committee. Steve has always fought for Texas families and will never back down from doing what is right.
Steve and his wife, Babette, have been happily married for over 40 years and are proud parents and grandparents. Steve is running to fight for their futures.
State representatives write and vote on state laws and the state budget. Each represents a district in the legislature's lower chamber, which is called the House, the Assembly, or the House of Delegates depending on the state. Most serve two-year terms.
