My Goal For Us
Tennessee has made great strides to become a business-friendly state while working to make sure that rural Tennessee sees growth like the urban areas. More than ever, we must work together to ensure that future generations of Tennesseans have economic prosperity all across the State. As your state representative, I’ll be looking out for everyone in District 76, while supporting small businesses, farmers, and all the professions that make up rural Tennessee.
State representatives write and vote on state laws and the state budget. Each represents a district in the legislature's lower chamber, which is called the House, the Assembly, or the House of Delegates depending on the state. Most serve two-year terms.
