About Tim Moore

Congressman Tim Moore

In Congress, Tim Moore is fighting for hardworking families across Western North Carolina. As the U.S. Representative for North Carolina’s 14th Congressional District, he serves on the House Committees on Financial Services and the Budget, standing up for fiscal responsibility, smarter regulation, and stronger support for hardworking families and local economies.

Before heading to Washington, Tim spent more than two decades in the North Carolina General Assembly, including ten years as Speaker of the House. Under his leadership, the state enforced voter ID protections, outlawed sanctuary cities, balanced the budget every year, and delivered the single largest personal income tax cut in state history.

Thanks to that record of results and his conservative principles, Tim is one of the few members of Congress with proven experience actually getting things done. We need his leadership in Congress to make government accountable again and to give North Carolina a common-sense voice that fights for real results.
